Haha. I know, I know. I had a momentary lapse of reason there. Like I said, my mind is a little wacky this week

Haha! Understood.

I concur, I’m also a female.

Ok guys here is my profile. I applied to ucla as a bioengineering major with a gpa of 3.8. I want to pursue medicine after my undergrad studies so basically i consider my self as a premed. I have already been admitted to uc irvine biomedical engineering premed program. If i get in to ucla , would it be wise to go to ucla or Irvine. I am kind of worried about my GPA and not sure if i will be able to pull off good grades at a top tier university like UCLA. Any ideas?

@ kwhitty,

I only said I would take her out to a nice dinner and never call again, LOL :)

Don’t let fear be your deciding factor. If it’s about which school has a better program pertaining to your major, then ok, but to decide against UCLA because you are afraid you won’t do well is just silly. Believe me, I’ve thought about that very thing before, but if we get in and have the opportunity to work our asses off and get the great, rigorous education that UCLA has to offer, then lucky us. Either school will be great, anyway.

Reposting your message is not cool, especially since you haven’t even been admitted to UCLA. I can understand that you are nervous, but its rude to try to dominate the thread, until someone answers your question. I’m sure you can find a thread that discusses the merits of both programs.

Great. I just responded to the re-post guy. :(

Haha! Shame on you.
Just kidding. (:

Haha. I feel like I betrayed the members of the thread!

note to self never double post anything! Haha

Seriously, I hate people who re-post threads…so annoying

I just heard from a guy in my Earth Science class that he was already rejected by UCLA. If we did not hear from them yet it may be a good sign! :)
