UCLA Transfer Orientation

Hi guys,

I have questions about the orientation at UCLA. I heard many people said that the only good thing you get to do there is to register for your classes and you have to stick around the whole day for nothing. So my question is, can you still register without going? Or can you ask a friend to register for you??? Do they take role or ask for ID or sth? Or if you're enrolled in that session, you'll be able to register that day even if you're not going?

Thank you

I heard it’s boring too…but I’m gonna go mainly just to sign up for my classes.
Does anybody know if we HAVE to be there at 7:30 in the morning??? Or can we just show up whenever…?

I read something in the info packet that said that you can’t come later than 1:00 (nonrefundable/they won’t let you in), so presumably you can come any time before that. Don’t quote me on it though.
