Comment with a link to your chance thread, ill do it as fast as i can

nice ec’s

if you’re in-state, you’re 50/50 in because of the scores

if you’re out of-state, you need at least 1450. No one cares about writing fyi. It’s a score booster, nothing else.

if you get 800 M and lets say, 700 CR, you’re on a fine road but remember that you can cure cancer and they can reject you meanwhile you can get a 1000 composite no ecs write a fantastic essay and they can accept you…

As of now for UC Berkeley: 40/100
If you get 1450+ 60/100

You said you would be able to pay full freight to Berkeley or UCLA? I will chance you accordingly, as out-of-staters get better odds if they are paying full freight. and URM would not have meant anything at either school if you were one.

That said, your EC lists are a little hard to read. And, as an out-of-stater, if you had 8 APs at B- or better, the best 8 AP classes will get one extra grade point from the unweighted. So your expected UC GPA is in the 4.2 range.

Berkeley: Match
UCLA: Match

Honestly man, you never know with these colleges. You have to wait. If you can do more, do more.

40% chances at Berkeley
50% chances at UCLA

since you can pay full tuition OOS that helps a lot as the state is broke

50% UCLA
33% Cal

with current SAT:
75% ucla
10% cal

if you can improve your SAT to 2200+, your chance will go up significantly. good luck!

UC Berkeley- 30/100
UCLA 60/100

Just because you never know with these colleges.

Thanks guys!:))) And yeah, im waiting for my December scores to roll in! hopefully i got into the 2200 range:)

def good chance to ucla (7.8/10). GREAT ecs, bring up sat scores. not as many aps jr year though whichll bring you down. 4/10 for berkley. good luck :)

UCLA is definitely a match.
Berkeley is a high match.

As long as your essays are good.

UCLA is a match. I’m not sure with Berkley. Not as familiar. Get your rank up a bit higher and you’d be in amazing position for UCLA. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1426652-ohio-state-chances-2.html#post15144262
