UCLA v. UCSD v. UCB: Bioengineering

So, I'm in something of a predicament...
I was recently admitted to UCLA, UCSD, and UC Berkeley as an undergraduate with the major of Bioengineering. My predicament is that I am unsure which school to choose, given the following:

-I wish to study Bioengineering as an undergraduate, and accordingly, attend a school that has a good program for it.

-I wish to fulfill premedical prerequisites in my undergraduate years.

(Here are the issues that worry me...)
-I was admitted to UC Berkeley as a Spring admit, and have read that Spring admits with Engineering majors are generally behind the curve (UC Berkeley forums on CC), in comparison to fall admits, throughout their undergraduate years.

-UCSD supposedly has the best undergraduate Bioengineering program of the three, but I am unsure as to whether or not I will be able to fulfill my premedical requirements/be prepared for the MCAT/be competitive as an applicant to medical schools with the given curriculum for the major:
Bioengineering Department | UC San Diego

-UCLA supposedly has the worst Bioengineering program of the three, and, if I am not mistaken, does not even have ABET accreditation for the program yet...

So, I ask... for knowledge on any of the above ideas, for clarifications, and for advice on what to do.

Thoughts?

Thanks ahead of time!

That does not necessarily have to be true.

Find a local community college on the semester system that has courses that articulate to the Berkeley courses that you would take in the first semester if you entered in the fall (use [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) to match up community college courses with Berkeley courses for your major). For Berkeley Bioengineering, the specific page is [here. Then take those courses (and enough humanities or social studies electives to make a course list that articulates to 15 Berkeley units worth of courses, if needed).

If you do that and then enter Berkeley in the spring, you will not be “behind” in course work. As a bonus, 1 semester of community college + 7 semesters of Berkeley will probably cost several thousand dollars less than 8 semesters of Berkeley.

There is more spring admit information in this FAQ](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST).

Note that there is a [UC Berkeley Extension Fall Program for Freshmen](http://extension.berkeley.edu/fpf/) that spring admits can attend, but the course selection is limited; in particular, there are no Chemistry or Physics courses offered, so you will likely be “behind” as an engineering major.

I didn’t get into Berkeley, but I have a dilemma between LA and SD, though I’m leaning toward LA. Please advise on pluses and minuses of each, since the poster says that LA has the worst BME program out of the three.

UCSD’s Bioengineering dept is VERY good.
