<p>I’d never get to eat the food at UCLA, because if I had to live in a 9 x12 room with two other people, at least one of us would be dead. I stayed in one of those rooms with just one other person and that was bad enough.</p>
<p>Berkeley puts 3 people in double rooms, too, but at least those double rooms are 13 x 14.</p>
<p>I can’t speak to the current state of the food at UCLA versus Berkeley, but I do know that Berkeley has a lot of good, inexpensive restaurants, not to mention Top Dog.</p>
<p>But I agree–go where you’ll be happy. Visit both and see which one feels better.</p>
