My DS got into both UCLA and UCB. Both are such excellent schools and he feels so fortunate to agonize over which one to choose. He likes that UCLA has a smaller class size ratio but read that Cog Science is ranked #1 at Berkeley.
FYI, We live in LA and he has grown up going to UCLA games, both my husband and I are Bruin alumns.

@stressedout3 . . . Cog Science is a hot major with various possible fields one can pursue with such a degree. What is his desired profession with a degree in it?
It is a topic he likes and for now he says his ultimate goal is law school. Who knows four years from now…
@stressedout3 . . . All we can go by is what we know now. UCLA produces more attorneys than Berkeley, but both as preparatory of law would be excellent. Both would have great pre-law clubs to be engaged in competitions, etc. All the best!
