UCLA vs UCI premed

<p>Hello! </p>

<p>I'm transferring this fall and I can't decide which school is best for premed. I've heard about the insane number of premeds at UCLA so I'm a bit concerned that it will be harder to find good research positions and that it will be a very competitive environment. </p>

<p>Which school is better for getting to know professors for letters of req? And which one has the best research opportunities? </p>

<p>Also, how competitive are the science courses? Is there a significant difference between the two schools? </p>

<p>They are both excellent for premed, and both would be highly competitive. Are you referring to research opps or research positions at UCLA? Rearch positions would doubtlessly be more difficult to obtain, as they would be anywhere.</p>
