UCLA vs UCSD vs ASU Barrett. Please help me choose!

Might be late to this thread but I wanted to just provide a bit of clarification on the UC San Diego Campus. For reference and full disclosure I’ve worked there for 15 plus years so I know a little about the campus.

-It is on the beach. The campus is large, some parts of the campus are literally on the beach (Scripps) others are further away.

-The VA is not on campus. It’s a next door on a separate property.

  • Light rail is being built and will open this year. This will connect the campus to downtown San Diego and the greater San Diego region.

Good luck with your decision, I’m guessing you’ve already made it. They are all great choices.

UCSD campus occupies 2,178 acres. The school is like a beach city. But you will not have time to go the beach if your major is STEM-focused. Want to have fun by the water, choose an easy major and enjoy.
