UCLA Waitlist Major

I couldn’t really find this online, but if you get admitted off the UCLA waitlist, do you get into your first choice major, second choice, or does it vary?

Bump! My first choice major was in the engineering school, and second choice is for the school of letters and sciences.

My first instinct is that if off the waitlist, I will be admitted to my second choice major as there is high demand for the school of engineering, but then again, on UCLA’s website, somewhere it said that for engineering majors, they do not usually review you for your alternate major.
