UCONN 2026 Admissions

Honestly way better stats than what I have. Those stats are incredible and I think you’ll get into the Honors College and even maybe with a scholarship

The fact you’re in state is pretty much a lock anyways

I LITERALLY CHECK THIS THREAD SO MANY TIMES PER DAY NOW

im so nervous I CANT

Same. Glad it’s more active now that it’s closer to releasing

Like not even kidding UCONN is the only school I applied to that I can actually afford. If I dont get in I am dead**s enlisting in the army LOL

Did you apply to schools and apply for their financial aid?

im in the weird in between of not qualifying for fin aid at private schools but also not having enough money to afford 40-70k/year in tution. All my safties are private schools-- I was pretty dumb making my list

Are you in-state?

yup!

Do you mind showing your stats? In state is the majority at UConn for any campus

do we know if UConn gives preference to in-state vs. out of state students? My daughter is from Texas, but really fell in love with it when we visited.

Not sure but most students there are from Connecticut. They’re not as bad as some schools I think when it comes to in state/OOS bias

All land grant universities do and are required to admit % of state students. It’s been close to 70% in past years

Yikes

Check out the common data set. It will give more accurate %

You’re fine. You’ll definitely get in. I had waaayyyyy lower stats than you and got into Storrs. (I’m not in honors) but, I think you’re good.

were you out of state?

I was in-state.

Could you share your stats if you’re comfortable? Im from Mass but didn’t excel in school

No problem

-1250 SAT
-4.0 gpa (weighted) idk I didn’t try in high school LOL had some C’s on my transcript
-I did theatre and band in high school.
-I worked as a Ride Attendant/Operator at an amusement park.

I got into Storrs for Pre-Pharmacy.
