<p>Heyyyyy so just recently uconn became my favorite school. i'm extremely worried about my gpa and sat scores and if i will get in. My freshman year really messed up my grades and so did a lof of sophomore year so now unfortunately i only have a 2.6 going to a 2.7 as my gpa:( SATS 570-math 570-reading 600-writing. I have many extracurricular activities. i've done cheerleading for 4 years fall and winter and am captain now my senior year. my sophomore year i was captain on jv fall and winter. Ive been on varsity track and field since freshman year and placed 8th in state opens and 3rd in states. i have a job im in a few clubs and do some volunteer work. what do you think my chances of getting in are?</p>
<p>Your GPA is definitely going to hinder you–I’d suggest taking the SAT again and trying to get everything above 650. </p>
