@JuicyMango I completely agree. This has been a roller coaster for us applicants and the way they are handling it provides no evidence that they have a clue as to what’s happening.
I hope it does, when i first saw my congratulatory notification it was with my intended major (undeclared). This weeks been weird for me because ive had like 4 tests and then this fiasco lol @dallasthienle
also kind of stupid of them to tell you to call admissions office if you have questions, since (1) everyone who applied has a question and (2) you can’t get through
There not picking up the phone or answering anyone’s email and if by any chance they do pick up ur phone than they say that “we can not tell u ur admission status over the phone, check the portal once it’s back working”

did anybody try to call them? they did not release any update to say when would the portal open…still close.
at least i hope they could send an email or so to help us understand what our true decisions are.

Well, they had the portals down for a day and now they are back up… doing the exact same thing they have done for the past week! My son’s portal changes from Application being reviewed, to Congratulations! You have been admitted to the major of in the for Fall 2017. Sigh… :-/
my son’s site is still doing it. First is says record number of applicants, then after opening the announcement and scores tabs is says Congratulations. We sure hope the congrats message with his major is correct.

@LemonShortCake It’s like that for everybody, UCR shut down the site to fix their issues.
Just called the admissions office and the lady said that the portal should be up and working by 3pm today
Transfer student here, just called admissions and they told me my application was still under review, and to check myUCR today at 3:00 P.M
lol here’s how this afternoon is gonna go…
Portal goes up at 3pm
Everyone checks at 3pm if they have a decision (no one does)
portal goes down at 3:10pm because of the “increasing amount of applicants trying to acceded the portal the same time”
So trueee^^^^^ @-)
