UCR, N Arizona, or Texas Tech

With a complete full ride offered to UCR and almost to Northern Arizona and some help to Texas Tech is it just a no brainer to choose UCR? We dont have the decisions that most of you do but it is still just as hard. Trying to compare programs is difficult for this first time college family. S is set on bioengineering as a major with the outlook to the future in medical research. We would love any suggestions.

No brainer to go UCR. Absolute no brainer. Assuming you mean UC Riverside?

UC Riverside for sure, even if you had a full ride to all of these schools, I would choose Riverside

Thank you for the responses!
This has been a difficult process to sit back and watch unfold. I try not to slip into the whining parent mode and ask why when our sons stats are quite impressive but was not accepted to the top schools he applied to. I wish we would have followed the counselor actions through this process. We are still puzzled as to why they use general recommendation letters rather than a personalized one and probably the biggest issue is why his concurrent enrollment college transcript with all of the night classes on it did not get sent in with the HS one. Darn, oh well.
Having never gone through this process before we just want to give him advice when he asked for it. The cost of education is so expensive but we are trying to work with what he has been offered.
Thanks again

“complete full ride at UCR” is a huge success, if you ask me. That offers limitless opportunity.

UCR is ranked #89 in the nation according to USNWR. It is a great opportunity to have a full ride anywhere in the UC system especially in this financial climate
