@Piktuto yea i called they said because I was alloted an amount based on the housing but since I went with bannockburn the amount was reduced
Anyone get an on campus apartment, if so which one?
Similar question, what housing did you guys apply to? I’m filling mine out tonight
Hey guys! If you are a transfer student, if you guys already sent in your transcript, once it shows received on MyUCR, keep checking to make sure it doesn’t change. I had sent mine and it showed received for a few weeks and then it changed to not received, so I called and they said I never sent anything!!! So they said they would have to do research, they called me a week later saying they found my transcripts and that the website has been updated.
@ezam1990 That’s very nice of UCR to call you back. Thanks for the advice!!
Hey, how do we send our transcripts? What email do we use?
@Joseguz101 I sent my transcripts electronically by using parchment for my high school transcripts.
My community college they had their own system ^^ (its called Transcripts Plus)
you can either send them electronically by a third party or send them in person

Hi everyone~
Not sure if anyone will still check this thread~
I am an incoming transfer student for fall 2018. I was wondering if everyone here already has their transcripts marked as “received” on their MyUCR account? I sent my HS, and college transcripts, but had to send another transcript for ONE remedial course i had to take at another school. The transcript from the other community college with that one class still doesn’t say received so I am a little worried! lol
Also, Has everyone signed up for orientation already? I tried to finally sign up a few days ago but all dates are full! D: They did put me on a wait list though and was told they will probably open up other days for orientation.
@poisonheart my transcripts haven’t updated either, getting a little worried… I also haven’t registered for orientation since I’m waiting on UCI. What happens if it’s full?
~
@dbxstian I emailed the admissions counselor again a few days ago and she said that they have a high volume of transcripts to go through still so that’s why it may be taking a while to show up in the system…but she also said I could drop them off personally if I would feel more comfortable doing so. I think I will go and do that just in case! Otherwise if we have the receipts and confirmation of us ordering the transcript from our CC we should be okay if they were to get lost or whatever since we have the proof that we ordered them. I feel a little more at ease now. We should be fine! They’re probably just piled away somewhere.
Also, I was able to register for Orientation! They put me on a “wait list” but I happened to check out the website randomly and there were two sessions open. So basically being on that wait list didn’t help me out because i was able to register on my own without them checking for me or adding me. lol.
If its full they will put you on the wait list for orientation. You have to email them though. IF you are on the wait list keep checking the Orientation registration page as they might open more spots and you’ll be able to register that way like i did without their help xD If no more spots were to open then they said they will add more days. So you’re good!
Hopefully someone sees this!
I got a question! I got my IGETC certified from my cc and they have transfered all my credits but they are still asking for a lot of general courses! Does anybody have the same issue? I thought that if the student had the IGETC certified that they wouldn’t need more general courses?
@ranz07 Hey! Did they email you? I also noticed this but on their assist page. “B. HUMANITIES. Three courses total (one to be completed at UCR, as upper
division.” Which kind of sucks if its true, because I’m also IGETC certified and don’t want to deal will general ed!
@dbxstian No, I actually just logged in to check my registration time slot and I saw that my credits were transferred. It truly does suck because I was expecting to graduate within two years from UCR, but now with all those generals they are still asking it’s going to take me longer. I’ve been trying to reach my academic advisor but she never answers and hasn’t returned my calls.
random question how long after receiving your transcripts did your transfer courses appear on your degree audit? So far I am still listed as a freshman and got absolutely no credit for any courses even though I completed igetc and all prerequisites
@Piktuto It’s 9 extra classes but I spoke to my cc
counselor and he said that they shouldn’t be making me take extras if the IGETC is certified. Also, I already got my AA so they made a mistake on that.
@fpk1210 I sent them June 26 and on July 12 it was updated.
@ranz07 I saw 6 classes on my portal
On Tuesday I turned in a IGETC certification. Apparently, my CC does not send a verification with my transcripts I have to request this separately.
@fpk1210 It took me about a month to see all of my credits transfer. Listed as a freshmen as well lol.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they are backed up and slowly updating. I will be calling in mid-August if I see no changes.
hi all~
I’m still listed as a Freshman too. I’m sure they’re still backed up with a lot of info to process. I would have thought that by now they would have put my info in since i sent it quite early on.
After they submit our info we will be able to see the credits that transferred?
