I have been accepted to UCD, UCR, UCSB and most likely going to be accepted by UCSD and UCI. If you were a political science major choosing between these schools which would you choose and why? I heard that UCSD and UCSB have good political science programs but how do the other schools compare?

UCD is ranked 24th in the nation by USA Today

depends on what you want to do with a political science degree

Wasn’t UCSD up in the top-10 for public schools a few years back?

I believe UCSD is still top 10. It depends on what list you’re looking at, but the general consensus is that Cal is anywhere from #3-5 and UCLA is about 7th. Pretty good when you consider that Ivy schools are included in the comparison.
