Hey guys! Ill be transferring into UCSB for the Fall 2012 semester and seeing as how Ill only have two years there I have been looking into how I could make the absolute most of my experience. So I was wondering, what kinds of clubs, organizations and activies are available for me there so that I can really soak in as much of Santa Barbara as possible? Current students please share your experience or recommendations and future students please share what you've heard! :)

many many clubs

excursion club
professional orgs
associated students committees
political clubs
atheist club
religious orgs/ministries
ethnic clubs
clubs for majors

there’s everything…there’s a search feature at the student orgs website: http://ucsbosl.orgsync.com/OrgList

You should join CAB (the community affairs board) if you’re into doing fun volunteering activities or EAB (environmental affairs board).

Also, I am part of a small Cambodian culture club called Khmer-Student Association! This is club is really great and fun for people who are seeking long lasting friends (also learning about cambodian culture).
