Hello all! I was wondering, as a prospective physics major, how UCSB’s College of Creative Studies in Physics would be? Is there an exclusive requirement apart from applying into UCSB’s general college? As my ultimate goal is to go to grad school, how is the research scene there for undergrads? How does it compare to UC Berkeley’s or UCLA’s physics program in terms of overall quality? Lastly, is the CCS reputable/well known to grad schools as a competitive, or well-respected program? Thanks!!!
they talk about much of this on the CCS website. You can also set up a meeting to talk with them if you can make it to campus.
