my counselor at my current school told me that SB admits everyone to pre-major's regardless if they finish the pre-req's or not but he also said that once you get there they may admit you to full major status of you have completed all of them that being said it looks the ill need one more calc class when i get there ive taken one, both econ's both accounting courses and stats so i think im good....hopefully they'll post those this week..this waiting is getting old

Man, what a bully!!!

First day of April and still no decision.
I should have applied to Davis or San Diego.

:(

yup.... i should of applied Davis instead....way too slow..

i may remind you that Davis hasn't let out anymore acceptances since their first wave, much like UCSB.

they even told us that the next applications won't be out until Mid-April, at the earliest. it's alright, you guys can hold on and i'm sure things will go by quickly.

seriously..i am waiting till 3 o clock today before i check again...then once i see decision pending again ill probably just go kick a lawn nome or something

accepted! 1:45pm. 3.45 GPA french major.

well bout time to go kick that lawn nome....jesus!

I got accepted to ucsb like two days (+/-) ago. So I don't really understand their method.

i also got accepted to the honors program, anyone else?
im a 3.98 gpa history major.

i havent heard from uci or davis yet so i don't know what to say.

wow torrancecali, right when i pressed submit post, i see yours about the honors program...what are the chances? congrats on the honors program...

excuse the redundancy

congrats to u also tiptopt!

Congrats guys!

Does UCSB send an email first that your status has changed, like UCI does? I've never been the type to log in eleventymillion times a day to check my status. :)

UCSB didn't send me an email. I had to check a million times. :-)

SD and SB i never got email.... just checked the web..

vp0313....I have almost the exact situation as you 3.57 2 yrs at cc,tag, igetc, bus econ major and I finished all my pre-req's last semester at I still have decsion pending. I really think the reason we are still pending is because they have to check that we completed the two econ's, stats, and calc where as most majors pre-req's are reccomended but not required

Question: How come i can't find any financial aid status? Grants/Loan/Scholarship etc? are you guys in a same situation?

congrats Torrancecali, bet you expected it to say decision pending when you logged on and whoa! did you also apply for last winter?
