Which school is better for a business major? PLs heLp

What are your career plans with a Business major?
Have you done a side by side comparison of each schools major curriculum along with Business electives of interest?
Are finances/costs an issue?
Have you visited both schools?

What kind of school environment are looking for academically and socially?
Do you plan to live on campus or commute?

Better program in what way? Better ranked?

Check out the AACSB accreditation https://aacsb.edu/

Hello Gumbymom! I am an incoming freshman and have been admitted to both of these schools. I plan on majoring in business administration w an emphasis in international business. I have tried looking for videos that demonstrate a difference in each school plus the major but have found none. Financial cost is not an issue I would be able to dorm. I have not been to either campus. I am looking for a normal environment nothing too crazy lol. And to answer the last question CPP is ranked 108 out of 747 and UCSC is ranked #21 for Business/Managerial Economics. I am just very unsure of which school to choose. I just dont know ;(. If u have any tips that would be great! And thank you so much for responding back to me.

oh yeah and i also got into cal state fullerton for business

UCSC would probably be my choice - the campus and dorms have a real ‘built in the forest’ feel to it and offers the classic ‘freshman experience’ . the others have a a real commuter vibe.

visit the campuses - I really think that will clear things up for you. I know they are ‘closed’ but, the buildings are still there and there are lots of students in the area you can talk to.

Congrats and good luck.

If you want a true college experience, then UCSC would be a better choice. Like the majority of Cal states, CPP is mainly a commuter school but you can still live on-campus and have the college experience but in comparison to UCSC, definitely very different.
