I just called my friend at Sixth, this is what she told me while she was walking to her meeting.

She calls it "Camp Snoopy" because it looks like a children's summer camp. Very cutesy (I'm sure you can google image it) with pristine lawns and cute little houses. The dorm rooms are considered among the best b/c it's the newest, as Sixth opened in 2002.

She says that the GE's are more-or-less stressed on science and technology. The educational "themes" are about history's great inventors.

Her personal opinion?

Well, she has always been an extremely overstressed student (had to leave HS for awhile because she had a... break down, of sorts) but she seems pretty happy there. She says that there are a lot of good looking guys (perk for some, I suppose). She's Pre-Med, Biology major, and I quote her:

"At least I don't go to Revelle." however, this feeling seems to be among those that needed to complete their GE's in Revelle. I have another friend that goes to Revelle and she calls me every week to help her with her essays for her humanities classes (last Hum course being taken this quarter, she's freaking estatic).

I hope this helps... I know it doesn't tell that much about it, I did have to be polite and ask her about HER and not just about Sixth, lol.

Oh yeah, this is what I remember about it. Sixth is right behind Warren, basically on the opposite side of the campus from Muir, Marshall, Roosevelt and Revelle. Sixth is most in shore.

well if there are great looking guys its worse for us average looking fellows. so my question is, which college has guys that happen to be morbidly obese?

from what I've seen, the average UCSD guy is not extremely handsome (at least not to my taste, some are though, lol) but they all seem to dress the same... nice jeans, sandals, and an American Eagle (or Hollister, some collar casual t-shirt)... underwear possibly not included (lol!).

Colder? Throw on a UCSD sweater. This is generalizing, obviously, but this is what I've noticed. Probably because I think they're all fairly attractive, just not "OMG, I must stop walking to admire Nature's Beauty"

sandals are a pretty good bet. lol.

oooooh! but one guy is. He is just... beautiful. 6'4", golden tan, some blonde scruff, big smile, blue eyes, such a sweetie, psych major... sooo... prettttty.... he's not super buff either, which is good (for me at least, lol). best part, one of my sister's friends. best part or worst part... we'll see....

Well actually, I have about 3 friends that go to SD, and they all say the crop of ladies out there really SUCKS. There is something out there in SD guys call "triton vision" (basically beer goggles) where there are no hot girls and guys start thinking really average looking or below average are hot. Google it, you'd probably find something.

i'm a girl, you can't ask me that. i am one of those that are very critical of their own gender. UCSD girls are average, to my opinion, and those that are good looking either have boyfriends that are equally good looking or are whiny *****es that guys just look to check in and out of... if you know what i mean. I meet more girls than guys when I go to UCSD. If you're a guy, go to Tri Delta. Yeah, they're stupid sorority girls but they have mad parties and are all... those of loose morals (typically).

Ditto everything samus said. I'm more relieved than anything; this is the first decision I've heard so far and it's nice to know it was an acceptance.

Sociology major from CSU
GPA: 3.9+
Sixth College, chosen randomly.

My friends are in some big asian frat, and they say the asian girls at ucsd are just busted. but the white girls are pretty fine; you'd have to go to sdsu where the asian girls are on the same level as the white girls at ucsd, but the white girls at sdsu are supposidly fcking hot.

psh, and HOW many of them are carrying a VD??

guys under estimate the beauty of a STD free girl. haha, like that story I heard of a guy who put a picture of his ex-gf on a bunch of fliers and wrote "I have herpes" on it. He posted it around town... nice.

just b/c we few perfect ones are more picky about our guys, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't work HARDER.

LOL. totally jk. hahahaha. oh, how many times have i heard this from a girl and her totally mean it... take heart. there's a person out there for everyone. of course, you guys are thinking more or less along the terms of a one night bedwarmer, not a long term deal.
