<p>ive been lurking for a while now, and i got an acceptance e-mail to UCSD yesterday afternoon around 3pm.</p>

3rd year transfer
international relations
marshall school</p>

<p>housing link changed 2 weeks ago</p>

<p>however, when i log in to myapplication, it still says my application is under review.</p>

<p>They are releasing all decisions on 4/30 now and I base this on absolutely nothing.</p>

<p>And what’s prob gonna happen is ucsd/ucsb/ucsc are gonna release my decisions at the end of april with the others and I’ll have only been to 2 UC’s by then! gah!</p>

<p>Just so you guys know, if you did NOT apply to Thurgood Marshall, don’t worry about not getting that email.</p>

<p>I got accepted to John Muir through my status page on the first batch and I didn’t so much as get any email. I only got an SIR email but that’s because I submit my SIR and it was notifying me of the change.</p>

<p>So in short, I think only Thurgood Marshal applications from this next batch are getting that email. </p>

<p>UCSD application process is always going to be more complicated than any other school, because:</p>

<p>A) They have six undergraduate colleges. That means each undergraduate decides if you’re in their school or not.</p>

<p>B) They have the major acceptance. </p>

<p>C) Their TAG doesn’t require community college contract. TAG is just completion of IGETC with math in fall and writing in spring before transfer.</p>

<p>If they required a contract, it’d be a much more expedited process because they’d know for sure who met their tag agreements and who didn’t, rather than seeing IGETC and TAG checked on the application and having to scrummage through the reported grades and making sure they match up. </p>

<p>For those of you thinking that two or more community colleges is the reason you’re still pending, don’t worry about that either. I had THREE different community colleges on my reported grades and a 3-4 year break between my college career. I was still early admission.</p>
