Mine is still pending. I am tag student with 3.9 and major economics. Will they keep posting admissions during the spring break week?

What happened to UCSD was suppose to release their decisions on the 15th? Anyone know how much time between this batch and the next batch? Freakin San Diego, I knew that place was trouble.

wait, how is ucsd rejecting peoples’ TAGs? TAG is a admission guarantee agreement. There would be no point in having TAG if they rejected them for people who met the qualifications.

@briansays: I think the issue is that UCSD’s TAG is electronic and all you do is just check a box, theres no e-mail or any indication whatsoever that UCSD acknowledges that you have met the conditions for the TAG so until you get that acceptance there it’s hard to feel secure, especially if you have a reason to feel you wouldn’t be competitive.

^ i know what you mean, i just got confused because someone up there said something about that. Does anyone know if UCSD actually denied anyone at all as of yet?

^^ it happened last year. it was accidental apparently. basically everyone with a tag was either accepted or rejected(but later on accepted). the main take-home idea here is a TAG = 100% acceptance rate(provided you didnt tard out and breached the tag contract).

is this what your page looks like when you guys sign onto my tritionlink?

Welcome to the UC San Diego application status site. We are currently reviewing applications for transfer admission for the Fall 2010 quarter.

Decisions for transfer applicants will be posted between late March through the end of April 2010. Please check this site later in the spring for updates and the status of your application.

All transfer applicants will receive a communication from the UC Central Processor in mid-January. This will give you details about the Application Update form covering your completed coursework for the Fall term, and your planned/proposed coursework for Winter and/or Spring 2010 terms. This is a required form and the priority deadline to submit it is January 30, 2010 . If you submit the Application Update form after February 15, 2010, the information on it may not be reviewed or considered, which can adversely affect your admission decision. Please check this site later in the spring for updates regarding the status of your application.

i shoulda done tag.

^^ that’s exactly what mine says and i havent heard back yet

Mine is still pending too. My gpa is 3.75 major in mechanical engineering with TAG. When they gona give acceptance again?

in a couple more weeks

whoa whoa guys, dont say ucsd is trouble just because your decision didnt show up on the first friggin night.

remember how many applicants there are? all schools send out acceptances in waves, a large amount on the first day, and more and more until they are all done, and they send rejects in between.

be patient. in other news i got accepted on friday :)

that’s interesting how your application on my triton link says:

MINE only says:

Welcome to the UC San Diego admissions information Web site for Fall 2010 undergraduate applicants. Your application is still under review.

thats weird… two different thing???

^yeah it doesn’t make sense to me either…and I have TAG btw

oh maybe thats why?! cuz i dont have tag…

idk if that really makes THAT big of a difference though, it wouldn’t make sense to give a different message to ppl who don’t have tags…does anybody else know anything about this?!

Btw I applied to UCSD in my junior year of high school…like 2 years ago…do they still keep my previous application cus when I log onto the triton website I get an option of choosing FALL 08 or FALL 10, just wondering…

@uc_bio: you might’ve accidentally applied as an undergrad, because you logged into the site for undergrad applicants

isn’t everybody applying as an undergrad?

Yeah, they keep your undergrad application. Just choose the Fall '10 and then you’re fine.

Regarding the message, I have TAG and mine showed the long message prior to the decision coming out so I don’t think TAG is the reason for that.
