<p>I've been pending since march 15th and march 22nd for both- what the heck?</p>

<p>Don’t worry, I think these schools are taking their time this year. I am still pending on UCD and UCI, but my UCSB decision changed today. You’ll be fine.</p>

<p>I’m kind of an unusual case, shell. ;x I have a half dozen F’s and W’s from an ill-fated attempt at college when I was 18-19, subsequently ran off and did interesting things in the military for most of my 20’s, and now I’ve fast-tracked for 3 semesters at 20+ units per semester with mostly A’s and a few B’s.</p>
<p>So where precisely that puts me GPA-wise, I’m not certain, but I imagine the disparity between my first and second approaches to college was a factor.</p>

<p>Gtarrant, i’m kind of an unsual case too haha… I got really sick my second year of college so my grades for two semesters are really bad, but I was admitted last year to UCSB, then rescinded because I had to drop all of my classes spring semester for an extended hospital stay… so my grades look really weird because a have a bunch of semesters with like 3.2-3.5 and 2 semsters with with about a 2.0… Hopefully i get in again, i’ver been diong really well this year… congrats again!!</p>
<p>Well frankly, if <em>I</em> got in, that tells me UCSB at least reads the personal statements and really does take more than a superficial glance at applicant circumstances – you should be fine. Keep your head up… 2 more days, if that!</p>

<p>Here’s hoping. I have kinda similar circumstances to you. B’s C’s D’s and 1 F for a year at a university due to me stressing out about whether I could keep paying for college. Enrolled in a CC and got a 3.74 first semester w/ 19 units (A’s and 1 B). Only problem is since I applied for next year they can only see one semester of an upward trend (even though I’m getting straight A’s this semester) :(</p>

<p>if it helps anyone, i’ve been admitted into ucsd and ucd as a psych major. i heard from them weeks ago, it’s strange that so many people are still pending.</p>

I got into ucsc/ucla and if I get into no more, at least I have two schools! :)</p>
