[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Probably because I’ve shown a sustained interest in Computer Engineering and created a lot of opportunities for myself.
[/ul]General Comments: Standardized test scores aren’t everything, but I wish I had tried the ACT because a lot of my friends scored higher on it than the SAT.
@appleface47 I got Computer Engineering at Revelle too. Do you know how the GE’s and our major’s courses work out? I did no research when I applied, might come to regret that
@pmast25 I honestly have no idea either, just read that most engineering majors do Revelle and it has the most work
@appleface47 @pmast25 I’m a bioengineering major at Revelle right now. While it’s not true that most engineering majors choose Revelle (most choose Warren), there are plenty of us who do. Revelle does have a lot of challenging GEs, but a lot of them overlap with most STEM majors’ lower division requirements. I’m in my second quarter (came in with 7 APs) and the only GEs I have left are HUM 2-5 (■■■) and the university DEI requirement. It’s going to be challenging, but you can do it!
Revelle doesn’t have the most GEs anymore either, ERC does.
If you’re worried about the social life at Revelle, I have a post at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/18214358#Comment_18214358 that may be comforting. Don’t worry too much! Revelle is awesome, and so is UCSD. Welcome!
