I guess its not today then…

i dont see how the page saying “currently reviewing applications” is going to make people stop checking every 30 seconds :/

ugh its saying the applications are still in review…its like the emotional roller coaster never ends.

The system got messed up. In the morning it said that unfortunately we unable to offer admission, but now I think they are resetting it, and the status went back that we are reviewing. At least I know the actual answer

@perkyboii – you’d think the actual decisions would stop people from checking haha

Can someone who has already seen their acceptance, log in again to see if it’s still there? I’m wondering if
everyone’s status reverted to still reviewing.

@mrssoffel Yes they are resetting and will probably run clean update.

Can they at least send emails like every other school??

Hmm the website does say from mid-march to March 31st.

…to March 31st…

Maybe they’re done posting for today?

So if we saw our admission status earlier today, are those legitimate?

Got admitted this morning and now it’s back to “reviewing application…”

Do I have any shot at getting in at all? I have a 3.9 GPA and 31 ACT.

@xjenzzz Yup

I hope so

@norcalparent Thank you! I feel better.

For all those who keep asking . . .

(1) Yes, the decisions have been made. They are not still reviewing applications.

(2) The decisions are supposed to be posted today, and should have been posted hours ago.

(3) The website has crashed . . . and that’s why you’re seeing all those stupid messages: "system unavailable,” “still reviewing applications;” etc., etc.

As for when it will be working again . . . well, if I could predict that, I’d be charging you money to predict your admissions decisions as well!

@xjenzzz — I’m sure what you saw earlier is accurate. The system just got so completely overwhelmed that they’ve had to basically start over, from what I can tell. That won’t change any decisions, just delaying the access to them.

I’m sure it is frustrating. Take control of your time and your state and stop checking so often. It doesn’t matter if you find out immediately.

It would not be the first time that UCSD made a mistake of informing students that they were accepted but in reality they were rejected.

Earlier I saw admitted. Now it has the same message from the last few months.
