i have the “rejection message” but it keeps switching back and forth with the summer contact message</p>
<p>And let’s keep in mind the distinct possibility that maybe the housing trick didn’t mean anything in the first place, although that’s mostly me trying to comfort myself :-(</p>
<p>For those who are wondering about the housing trick, it’s legit for me and one of my friends. We both got a called from UCSD students last night and our housing status says," “The housing application will become available in late-March. Please check back. If you would like to learn more about housing at UCSD, please use the links in the Housing menu above.” </p>

<p>i’m just waiting for the moment where everyones saying “THE DECISIONS ARE POSTED”</p>
<p>Has ucsd released any formal announcement about this whole ordeal? If they’re going to leave us on the edge, they should at least do this properly by establishing a time frame. This doesn’t look good on their behalf. </p>
<p>One possible explanation why the housing message is switching back and forth is because they are uploading their decisions and thus affecting the housing application</p>

and after I press Continue

<p>@infinitely2014: okay…then my assumption is that UCSD realized that applicants can predict their application status by looking at their housing message so they changed the housing message to be the same for everyone. Though like dchoiiii said, it would probably be more productive for UCSD to try and get the servers back running again than to fiddle around with a possibly-accurate trick that applicants caught up on…</p>

<p>so basically…everyone no matter accepted or rejected will receive the summer status…</p>

but now it says something about sending them summer contact information so they can send me housing information. </p>

<p>So today at like 12:15 PM I saw a message saying “Congratulations, you’ve been accepted to the revelle college for biochemistry and molecular cell biology” , is this real or is it something they made a mistake of</p>
<p>I got upto a page where its letting me submit my housing application lol I know I got accepted already but they won’t upload my decision letter- I got the call two days ago- but I still want the official letter ya know

<p>apparently this is only the beginning if we’re accepted. My friend was telling me that if I get accepted, this is how signing up for classes is. Every. Single. Quarter. </p>
