Not cool dude

@buster18 Those who received the questionnaire are usually applicants on the borderline. They are people who either have a disability, possess a talent or overcame some sort of hardship (idk about this last one). Apparently if you do really well on the questionnaire, you have a good shot at getting but don’t quote me.

At this point I think its safe to say that decisions will not be posted up until tomorrow or Monday --
Not cool UCSD -__-

Watch this be some sort of bizarre social experiment with us as the unwilling victims. LOL

maybe in 4 hours…since it is tomorrow in CA in 4….LOL I’m becoming delusional with this whole chaotic mess

HAHAHAHAHA, oh my god. I waited from 3 PM until now, and it’s still not working. Okay, I am just going to log-in tomorrow. HAHAHA

GOOD NIGHT LOVELY PEOPLE SEE YOU ON MONDAY:D

so i’ve found out that when you log in…it’ll say summer
but once you refresh it will go back to the original message…for me its the “rejection” status

maybe someone said this before…but i’ve just noticed

@nutter398 Good night! have a nice dream :D

I was the original housing trick poster. For those of you who are interested, here is the deal. There are only TWO housing message predictors of acceptance/rejection.

If at any point you saw “come back later or come back in Spring” that is the acceptance predictor.

If you never saw the above, that is the rejection predictor.

Whatever is coming up now that talks about summer seems to be a default thing that everyone will see at one point or another.

The housing trick basically is if you see, come back later/Spring/late march, then you are in. If you never saw this at any point in time, the theory is that you are not in.

Is it BS? Who knows. All I know is that no one who had the come back in Spring was rejected earlier. Also, everyone who got an acceptance call had the “come back later” message. Also, no one who had the “your admission status does not allow you to…” message was accepted earlier or got an acceptance call.

That is what we know.

The housing trick is not something we dreamed up today, it has been used in previous years and no one has refuted it. There are a few threads in years past about it.

well, may be rejected :((

@USMC0311
Well written explanation.

@USMC0311 What if mine alternates between the summer thing and “The housing application will become available in late-March. Please check back. If you would like to learn more about housing at UCSD, please use the links in the Housing menu above.”???
I was unable to check if I had the supposed acceptance message earlier in the day because I could not log on.

@stupidboy
If you apply to the competitive Eng’g majors ar UCLA/UCB, you can never be sure. Good luck though.

@usmc0311 you’re probably right, but I’m just going to wait for my portal to open back up because I’m half-hoping that you’re wrong haha. But it’s true that it’s worked for applicants in the past. :)

@literally, based on your post, you are in.

I hope I’m wrong too. I hope all of you guys get in.

based on housing trick…I got in …Can anyone predict when official results will be out??

I guess we should not assume based on the housing application as an indicator of acceptance or rejection because it is not official from UCSD.
