<p>I agree! I understand that the “late-march” and “you are not able to update…” are signs of acceptances or rejections but what does it mean for the summer housing ?</p>

<p>No we think that is a default message everyone sees. If you refresh, either the supposed acceptance message or the supposed rejection message shows up. But no one knows for sure!!</p>

<p>@tbrady I agree. According to the myth, it’s a sign of rejection and I also have it. But then, when “The address above is what we currently have as your Summer Contact Information. This address is the address we use if we mail you housing contract information” message appears and I click continue, there is message that says “No Housing Application Fee required. You may apply today before you decide what university to attend.
You will have completed the housing application process when you arrive at the Confirmation Page.” So I don’t even know if this is a good sign or bad sign. :((((((</p>
<p>I am a transfer applicant and from information from the transfer thread I can tell you that the housing application is not indicative of anything. People that have TAG (automatic acceptance) have received the “you cannot” housing message. Whereas some people have received both the “you cannot” message and “you may apply for housing today” message. I suggest everyone stop speculating and worrying yourselves over something that isn’t true. Good luck!</p>

<p>I went on my portal and the first thing I got was the check back later in March/Spring response. Then I logged in on a friend of mines and she had the summer one and then when i refreshed it, it changed to the “Your admission status will not allow you” message. </p>
<p>My friend told me that UCSD will correct the portals on the 18th</p>
