UCSD Class of 2018 Official Decisions Thread

<p>I’m calling it a night…Hopefully UCSD has decisions up sometime tomorrow.
It would be nice if they informed us that there were technical difficulties, but eh. </p>

<p>By the morning this thread will likely reach 200,000 views. That is absolutely nuts.</p>

<p>Accepted earlier today before the whole server crash. Hopefully nothing changes for me…</p>

<p>@MutaRiSC Unless you’re trying to switch into engineering or any other impacted/selective major, you can change your major when enrolling.</p>

<p>Hi,everyone. When I login and click on the housing application, the words are always" the housing application will become available in late-March. Please check back" I refresh it for several times but these words never change to other sentences other people posted before. Does it a good sign that I am accepted?</p>

<p>Hello (= I checked my portal this morning at around 12 pm, and unfortunately, my portal informed me that I was rejected from UC San Diego. Naturally, I was disappointed and spent the rest of my day trying to get through this rejection. I just checked my portal a couple minutes ago to get some more info and was extremely surprised to see that the portal no longer says I’m rejected, but rather it says that the applications for Fall 2014 are still in review and will be released soon. Can someone please explain what is going on with the admission notifications? Is this new page just a glitch?</p>

<p>Looks like they’re having database connection issues…</p>

<p>Hopefully that means they’re loading the decisions for real now and it’ll clear up in a few mins?</p>
