<p>kinda weird cuz my admissions status was showing in the afternoon but now it says system error (even under review at one point wth…) applied bioe, got in for chem e(alternate) kinda butthurt but wont complain. 4.38 uc, 2120 sat, 34 act, 790 math2/biom, stanford internship on bioprinting, asu internship on stents, 2-sport varsity athlete captain and sectional qualifier. kinda liked my essays about bioengineering and how internships helped me leave my reclusive self. still a little bummed but grateful that i got in. bioe is top-ranked at this place</p>
<p>Haha I would if I could. All I know is that if I get accepted, I might choose Santa Cruz over them just because their Computer Science dept. seems to be clearly lacking in terms of efficiency. I mean SC has a really functionable website.</p>

<p>I have a headache from stressing out over this and right now I’ve stopped caring whether I got accepted or not. (UCSD was never too big for me) but best of luck to the rest of you and go take a deep breath. </p>

<p>wait im confused. so i got a phone call yesterday saying i was accepted, but when i checked my portal today it said that a decision has not been made at this time. does this mean i havent been accepted or is it because the portal hasnt been updated? </p>

<p>Sheesh, people, read the thread - pick a page, any page! What it means is that their system has crashed. UCSD is apparently incapable of maintaining their own server. They posted decisions, but as soon as all their applicants started trying to access the site, it went down.</p>
<p>If you were lucky enough to have received a phone call or, by some miracle, to actually have seen your admissions decision, it’s time to move on. Check back in a day or two (or three or four . . .) to see if the site’s up and running again. In the meantime, just be glad you weren’t the one responsible for maintaining the server . . . . ;)</p>

<p>I have an explanation. Universities are now measuring posts and views on CC as a measure of eliteness and the best way to drive those is to give conflicting and confusing information and “crash” the sever and “rebuild” the database. Look what it has done for Cal Poly SLO. People now know they are more selective than Stanford. This junk probably didn’t happen on the Chico portal. :-)</p>

<p>You guys must understand that they did not say they would release decisions on the 15, It says “from mid march” , !!!</p>
