UCSD Class of 2023

So just curious what do y’all think. Decisions tomorrow or naw?

A few days ago my classmate called the admissions office. They told her Decisions should be out March 15th around 3 pm.

And UCLA March 15th 5 pm

Actually calling took place on march 1st starting at 12:00 a.m, and that was a while ago. If you don’t believe me, I can send the link. We may hear this Friday if that has wrapped up.

I think because the calling campaign already took place we should hear from San Diego tomorrow. Check your portals tomorrow at around 3.

I would assume if the calling campaign took place, recipients of those calls would have posted their acceptances like they do every year.

So do we assume that since calling hasn’t happened yet that the decisions won’t come out tomorrow???

I think calling has probably started even if we haven’t heard of any

Yeah that’s kind of what I figured

Idk… a TON of people posted their acceptances from over the phone on one of last year’s threads. That’s why I’m so surprised that no one has posted that they received a call of some sort, not even on reddit threads either.

3 pm PST?

Revelle College is the oldest college at UCSD and probably one of the toughest colleges at UCSD if not the toughest. Revelle offers a liberal arts education, very tough GE requirements compare to the other 5 colleges at UCSD. The humanities GE is tough, so is the language requirement for some students that don’t like languages. For me, an alumni of Revelle, class of 83, I would not trade my experience at Revelle. Humanities is probably some of the best classes in my life. Revelle does have a very good reputation. One of my classmate at Revelle applied to pharmacy school at USC, he was on academic probation at Revelle. He did not even have all of his pharmacy school class requirements, missing like a basic bio 1 course. Yet, USC admitted him with a contingency, that he take a bio 1 class at a local community college. My classmate swears he got admitted at USC pharmacy school because he graduated from Revelle. As you can see, I am an old fart from the past, I don’t know if situation is same as 30+ years ago, but I will say this to you. Revelle will make you a better thinker. I hope my 2 cents worth here will help you a bit. Good luck.

@RevelleBob thank u for enlightening us <3

So its confirmed that UCLA decisions are not coming out tomorrow. There is still hope for UCSD…

@tomasivan We’re wondering the same thing. There are apparently posts on Twitter from UCLA admissions saying they’re not admitting tomorrow but “soon”. I haven’t personally seen them b/c I don’t have a Twitter account, so I don’t know. UCSD has traditionally released on the same day as UCLA but this year seems different. Some speculate that the scandal this week is delaying UCLA, but who knows. Fingers crossed for all to get great acceptances!

UCLA Admissions tweeted the following at 8:56 pm PT last night: “Hi there! We can confirm they will not be out tomorrow. We’re working on finalizing our decisions and we will have decisions out soon!”

so are decisions probably coming out today, or is next friday a better guess?

@lesimpson4 I think today is probable. The official UC website says UCSD is coming “Mid-March” and UCLA “Late March” so I don’t think they correlate.

UCLA is coming out mid-march, just not today.
