<p>I suggest you give the respective offices a call. This info typically isn't published online, probably to prevent tons people from applying to the easier major just to get in thereby making it the harder major...</p>

I would say that computer engg. is definitely harder to get thru than comp sci. and u also hav to take more classes to graduate....</p>

<p>I have a question, I applied EE on UCSD, my question is, what is Computer Engineering, from reading the sinapuse it appears to be more hardware related so do they cut down on sorting, optimizations and such or what?</p>
<p>i applied as computer engineering as major and computer science as a alternate major. does that mean if i dont get into CE, they will play me CS major?</p>
