Has anyone heard from UCSD yet? The admissions site is still not showing any decisions online.

nope. BUT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW

I'll bet they'll post right on the 15th.

look at this post from the archive:

those kids from last yr only found out on MARCH 20... guh that's too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOO i'm dying haha

i've been accepted already. they send out emails to their "top applicants" inviting them to go to "scholar's day". and on the ps it said that if "you cant make it to scholar day, join us at admit day".

We are very happy for you BestBuy, you are very special.

lol, they said that in the ps did they?

so... basically, the waiting period the rest of us are subjected to is an implication that our chances of getting admitted is getting slimmer and slimmer as days go by.

that really, really reeks.

j.project - hardly. don't worry! I have a feeling bestbuy may be pulling our legs, and plus, the earliest of us won't offically be able to expect anything from the site for 2 days.

bestbuy isn't pulling your legs! my invite for scholar's day said the same thing about admit day. i guess i will most likely be admitted?

my bad then, qtpie - the 'ps' seemed so very informal that's all. I suppose this is the equivalent of a regents at other UCs or something?

Scholar Day is:

"top scholars and their parents at the annual Scholars' Day luncheon held in
the Price Center Ballroom. These students represent the top 5% of admitted
students to UCSD for each of the six colleges."
