I got accepted to UCLA but I’m picking UCSB and UCSD over UCLA because the traffic in LA and the cost living. HOLY, might as well just buy a mansion in Texas with that rent money. Also people at UCLA waaaaaaay too smart for me 
I kind of just applied for the hell of it.
I got accepted into UCLA as well but I REALLY want to go to UCSD since I’m a local. I plan to study abroad too so would like to save as much money as I can before I go abroad. Think UCLA will be my second pick though. Please release results this Friday UCSD!

@kristinpete Yeah i definitely will at UCSD or UCSB, I wasn’t the best student in high school and ended up getting rejected by every university.I also think UCSD and UCSD fit my vibe a lot more, I might as well give up my spot for someone who truly wants to be there! Thanks for the advice too! Also on campus is just as expensive.
@itstylermydudes I meant that living on campus you wouldn’t deal with traffic too often. If UCLA isn’t your vibe great but don’t decide not to go simply because you don’t think you’re smart enough…

Got into UCLA, but I’m still leaning towards UCSD because it makes more sense for my major (Cognitive Science). Still gonna be a tough decision if I have to choose between UCLA and UCSD.
I got into UCLA with my alternate major, I’m waiting for UCSD so I can go somewhere to study my actual major.
Will San Diego release financial aid awards the same day as their decisions?
@navea13 yeah probably. If not im going to be pissed because financial aid package is also the determining factor if I pick this school over Cal Poly Slo and our SIR is Wednesday T.T
When I spoke to someone on the phone a few days ago she said that our financial packages should be available when our decision is.

Accepted at CSULB (International Studies), CAL Maritime (Global Studies), CSUSM (Poli Sci/Global), UCR (Poli Sci/Int Affairs)–Waitlisted at UCSB (Poli Sci)–Rejected at UCLA (Philosophy) and UCB (Sociology)
Does UCSD also usually do a calling campaign, but they haven’t done that either, right?
