UCSD Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

I called last week and the guy who answered said that they are not allowed to tel them when they are coming out, so I truly don’t think the students that man the phones know anything more than we do, sadly

Man i hope todays wait isnt for nothing ?

@plsacceptme11 i just clicked on that and it said it’s for admitted students only… is everyone getting that too? i just wanna make sure it’s unrelated to if they accept you or not FOR NOW

If you log in to rsvp triton day, it said for me that “Triton day is for admitted students and their families.” Wonder if that means I got rejected.

I don’t think that means anything. They probably open it up for people to actually log in once they have sent out decisions.

Honestly not sure ill be accepted lol I just randomly applied and completed IGETC but assist didn’t articulate any prereqs for my major (comm) from my CCC. I have an above average GPA (3.66) and I’m waitlisted at Berkeley so I’m really not sure about my chances.

@plsacceptme11 says that for me too. Not sure if it means rejection

okay it seems like it’s not related to rejection

@EthanSwrvs does it say same thing for you?

Says that for me as well, definitely not indicative of any rejection.

Yeah says the same for me too

@bomnd yes

Guys, I know we’re trying anything to figure out if we got accepted but, I think the only thing we can do is wait. People are doing the same thing on the USC thread and trying to get into the housing system earlier. We don’t want to do anything that could possible alter our acceptance, right?

I think they should be coming out soon it use to before they updated it it use to be a count down. It says the same thing when i click on it too.

I already got waitlisted at usc. second year in a row

@EthanSwrvs I’m sorry. That really sucks. I’m still waiting for my decision from them. What major?

Sorry to hear that, college decisions get harder every year :frowning: i understand how u feel I got rejected from UCLA twice in a row

I got rejected from UCSB. That hurt my pride more than anything. That was my first admission decisions AND my safety school.

@femmefilmfatale business - Marshall. they sent me a spring grade request in early april. an SGR is their way of waitlisting you.

@EthanSwrvs Ugh, that sucks. That’s a really competitive major there. I applied for the School of Cinematic Arts which is a 3% acceptance rate. I’ve heard that some people with SGR do get accepted but super late in July. Who knows with them though. Private schools are something else.
