I have been awarded Cal Grant A according to the Cal Grant website. However, according to My Tritonlink under “Accepting Your Financial Aid Award,” my “CAL GRANT A NEW” has an “Unconfirmed” status. How does it get confirmed? Must I be worried? It seems that others have the same issue.
Usually it has to do with the State budget and approval of that budget, but it could also be that they need to wait for the quarter to start to make sure you are enrolled as a full time student.
I wouldn’t worry, but if you want to check, you can contact the FA office.
