Hey guys!
if anyone has anything to add please please do so and give me your honest opinion. Here I go:
I am a white female instate student applying to UCSD (and other UCs but that is my top) for engineering. I go to a very competitive high school with an API of 10. here are my stats:
SAT (M660, CR660, W600)
highest math I’ve gotten is 710
ACT (M33, S31, E31, R26)
weighted/unweighted gpa: 3.59
I didn’t take any APs until my senior year, I am now taking calc ab and psych. I randomly took math level 2 test and did terrible (630) so I’m actually studying and doing it again along with physics. I have lots of EC’s: three years of two varsity sports, engineering club, I’ve been on my schools dance team for 4 years and I am captain, and I have been regularly volunteering since freshman year. I also have several sports related awards as well as scholar athlete awards. Now for the total wild card and only reason I think I stand a chance: I was diagnosed with ADD during my sophomore year, upon which my grades drastically changed (drastic as in 3.0 to a 4.0). I wrote about this extensively in the additional comments section and mentioned it in one of my personal statements. If anyone has any comments, all are graciously accepted. Thank you!!
oh and I forgot to mention this but I have also worked 3 jobs
