I need unbiased opinions. My college applications haven't turned out too well as I've been served a seven course meal of rejections.

So my two choices are basically UC San Diego or University of Durham in the UK. I want to study International Relations.

Anyone got any opinions???

From what I know, Durham is very good for international relations, but I don’t know much about UCSD.

Durham is a very high ranked UK university with a history of academic excellence. It is consistently ranked in the top 10 UK universities in the Times Good University Guide rankings. However, I believe that the International Relations course is new and so may not be of the same quality (yet) and may suffer from teething problems. Take the time to phone the university and question them on the key elements of the course - they will be pleased to hear from you.
