Hi, I'm a senior in high school right now and was accepted to both san diego n irvine. I'm trying to go for a pre-med major; I've heard good things about both colleges and each have good pre-med programs. Also for ucsd, I was accepted into revelle which I heard was good for pre-med majors. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated since I do have like 3 weeks to decide =P

san diego is definetly the better choice.

UCSD's biochemistry program is superb, which is what most premed students at UCSD major in. The university does so much research in the medical field. Generally speaking, UCSD has a great medical school and medical center. In that great of an environment, UCSD can do nothing but to prepare you well. Anything with a bio prefix always reminds me of UCSD for some reason. Maybe it's because I go to school within 2 blocks of the medical center...

Go to UCSD.

do you go to UCSD, because i am also thinking of going there for there Bioeng. premed

you will spend about 5 years at revelle due to their crazy GEs
UCi probably would have less competition than UCSD. therefor emaking it easier for you to get into research etc. and depending on where you live you would make the choice to go to UCI or UCSD. I live 20 min from UCI i would definitely pick UCSD.
