"UCSD Still Pending" Association

Hello, I would like to welcome you to this brand new organization called "UCSD Still Pending". We specialize in procasination and false promises. Reply if you want to join.

Ok wat the hell I just got this email:

Congratulations from all of us on your admission to UCSD and John Muir College. We hope that you are considering joining us as a student. To help you with your decision, UCSD will be hosting a Transfer Admit Day on Saturday, May 20th. This day is a wonderful opportunity to meet members of our college staff and have many of your questions answered. Muir College information sessions and tours will be available, as well as sessions on important student services such as Financial Aid and Off-Campus Housing. To sign up for Transfer Admit Day and learn more information please visit: http://admissions.ucsd.edu/transferadmit/

If you are certain, or fairly certain, that you will be attending UCSD in September, please save either July 11th, 12th, or 13th to attend one of our one-day on-campus orientation programs. You will be invited to sign up for one of these sessions after you have submitted your Statement of Intent to Register. Orientation is designed to welcome you to our community, acquaint you with your resources here, and prepare you for our online advising and enrollment process. You will meet current transfer students and Muir College staff who will provide you with a sense of personal connection to our large research university. It will also offer another opportunity to check into housing options and perhaps even meet a potential roommate.

Oh wow I just got the same e-mail. Too bad I've already made my decision.

^^ yea already submitted my SIR to UCLA

I got that same message. I just called the admissions office and they said that somethinig is not right, that the individual college does not make the decision and therefore this should not have been sent out. My experience has been that the admissions staff is overworked around this time of year, so one hand hasn't a clue what the other is doing.
