I have a meeting with a UCSD rep tomorrow who is visiting my college…hopefully she’ll have some answers on why its taking sooooooooo long!

Still waiting too

3.68; Political Science. The only thing is I’m trying to transfer from CSUF. Ugh. Haven’t heard from UCI either. And it’s like the end of April!

i say we give them the benefit of the doubt…i dont think they are sitting around a large round table laughing, plotting how to make our lives more stressful lol.

…or maybe they are…

Still haven’t heard anything, no change in housing message, ugh. I feel sick.

3.4, economics, IGETC completed, 1 pre-req missing.
Accepted: UCI, UCD
Pending: UCSD, UCLA, CAL

@ sweetpotato: I’m like 99.9% sure they are…there’s no doubt in my mind.

I know that’s what I would do if I was them…

Just out of curiosity (already got in), does UCSD look at personal statements? I know most do not except CAL and UCLA for sure.

No, they don’t there’s a link in another thread that has the chart, I’m pretty sure its the UCSD decisions thread…I don’t feel like looking sry

@ Yames1307,

Please let me know if you get into UCSD!

I have similar stats (3.0-3.2) philosophy major.

I’m applying in November for UCSD and UCI.

still waiting on UCSD, UCSB, UCI, and UCLA

Ok, so I just finished talking to my schools transfer rep for UCSD…

The rep said, they’ve finished reviewing all the applicants, and they are in the process of prepping them(to upload onto the site). She said depending on other factors like EOP status and Financial Aid, we should hear from them either middle of this week or early next week.

Also for those afraid about the reqs. she said, as long as you meet the unit total, minimum gpa, and complete the required classes(igetc)–all by the end of spring–you will gain admission onto the campus. Prereqs and all that good stuff affect which college you get into more than it affects your admission onto campus. (((For CCC students)))

As far as why some of us are hearing from them sooooo late, they just shuffle their applications after the deadline to randomize it.

Hope this helps…Good Luck!!!

ty man really appreciate it

Oh and if anyone has any questions just pm me or hit me up on facebook if i’ve added you!

3.8 electrical emgimeering…pending
I saw a 4.0GPA…what is ucsd thinking?

still waiting
3.47
philosophy
all prereqs / igetc

accepted: UCSB
pending: SD, B, LA (yes fin sum)

thanks for the good info tek…when i called they were a little bit difficult to communicate with.

Yeah, they were with me too…

The rep I talked to this time is one that periodically visits my CC and I’ve been working somewhat closely with her. She helped me with the tag reqs and learn like everything I needed to about transferring(and trying to do it in one year). She has been extremely helpful…unlike ucsd’s admissions office workers! I had to set up a specific conference call with her and everything through my school’s transfer dept. and she basically told me I was going to get in…without telling me I’m in.
It definitely calmed me down quite a bit after being rejected by UCD!

The wait is killing me…not sure about my chances at ucla as well…ugh so close

Either which way we are all going to hear from every school by next friday!

So my housing hasn’t updated. Has anyone not officially received admission but has noticed the change in housing?
