I signed a TAG, have a 4.0 GPA, applied under a non-impacted major AND my decision is still pending for both UCs...
I got into UCSC already, but I can't help being worried because the UCs are taking their time deciding.
Is anyone else in the same situation?

yesss plenty of people are. no need to make another thread about it.

same situation except I have a waaay lower GPA.It bugs me because my friends got in already.■■■!Hate when they tease us like thast.oh well,it will be all worth it once we get those admission letter.

I heard an interesting story today from one of my tutees. She graduated from UCLA with a poly sci major or something else useless and came back to CCC to finish stuff for Pre-Med requirements.
She went to a CCC before transferring to UCLA also.
I was talking to her about people in this same situation(not hearing back while other people have); and she told me she heard back from UCLA before UCSB and UCI. That is to say; She heard back from all three in the last possible week.
After all the grief she was getting from people of “Ugg… How have you not heard back yet… you must not be getting in anywhere”, she got into a top 25 school.

The moral of the story is: Relax. Don’t think about it.
Focus on school, that’s what got you this far.

Yes, I’ve heard many of these schools wait until the last week. The worries now should be about maintaining your GPA so that you may submit your final transcripts in June and not be rejected then.
