UCSD vs UCB

Im having a real tuff choice. I live in San Diego but I will be dorming to get the full college experience. I somewhat want to leave but I somewhat dont. Berkeley just seems so far and the weather isnt my type. I want to have fun in college and get a good education. I am not sure what I am majoring in yet but I got into psychology for both schools. I do have some interest in business but I do not think I will go into that field. I feel as if Berkeley will have too much stress and I will be studying all the time. However, if I was to attend berkeley I would only be attending for the name. People say that UCSD is anti social but my friends that did go there said that the people that started the rumors are the people that didnt even try to be out there. Also I heard about the berkeley goggles and the triton eye.

UCSD is considered more prestigious than UCSB.

I say this because I know someone who got into UCSB, and was bitterly disappointed at not getting into UCSD.

However, UCSB is still a very good school, so I would go where you think you will fit in best.

That being said, I would find it hard to pass up Berkeley, whatever its defects in your eye.

he meant berkley not UCSB

The weather in Berkeley is very good, except for 3/4 other part of the year where it’s either cold or wet, and people do say that Berkeley is hard, but if you don’t go to Berkeley you will regret it for the rest of your life because you missed out on a big chance. Personally I would go to Berkeley because it’s only 20 minutes away from where I live, but then again you live IN San Diego, so I really dk. Also college isn’t about social, it’s about getting a goddamn degree and joining the workforce.
