UCSD vs. USC, and undeclared/IMPACTED majors (bio,BE,enviro)

I've been admitted into UCSD and USC, and money is no longer an issue because I am receiving financial aid from both schools. I've visited both schools and I like both of them.

now my big issue is choosing because of the departments, majors, and program differences between schools.

I am undeclared for both schools, but I am interested in biological sciences, environmental science, and bioengineering.

on the website, UCSD says that biological science majors are impacted. does this include bioengineering? how hard would you say it is to get into bioengineering for undeclared majors?

also, just in comparison to USC, how do the bio, engineering, and enviro departments compare? I know USC is mainly humanities and arts, so I don't know much about any of their science programs.

You should PM Radiance… she has attended both UCSD and USC and can provide you with more info.

This is a bit strange - But I am in the exact same situation now @godeee‌. I have a background in environmental science, and got into USC for environmental science and health, but I want to switch to BioEngineering. What did you eventually choose?
