UDel vs UConn

I was accepted to both of their Engineering programs. They're both around the same price to me, and I'm equidistant from both of them. When i went to visit, I loved both of them.

Which one has the better engineering program and how do I choose between the two?

And if it's chem eng, no contest ... DuPont and Gore have made UD's top shelf in that area.

Electrical Engineering

Take the US News rankings with a grain of salt...look closely at what the criteria are...we've used them as one input, but certainly not as key decision point.

You'd also do well to visit both schools and schedule appointments with the engineering schools - make a list of what's important to you BEFORE you go, and then get answers to your specific questions.

Just from living near UD I can tell you how often I hear about how excellent their engineering program is. One of the best, and definitely the best program the school offers.

There are good opportunities at UD. My son already has an engineering internship for the summer at a good salary.

EE? Prolly UConn.
But there's nothing to do at Storrs except milk the cows. Newark's the better place to spend four years.
