2 DAYS!
For all of you who applied to Fsu or Fsu, have you updated the ssar? Did that cause any issues with UF locking the ssar?
My son updated his SSAR with first semester grades for FSU. I read somewhere the UF either has it locked on their end, or doesn’t regard grade updates when it comes to the admission decision.
@Trisherella okay thank you!
Hi! Decisions for uf come out of Friday and I am so worried about my chances.
I am a senior with a 4.15 gpa when I sent my application in but now I have 4.3 with senior year grades in. I have a 27 as my overall act score.
My other half of my application is the strong part: my essay is about a volunteering trip to Peru and my extra curriculars include president of 2 clubs, 4 years of varsity soccer, Peru community service trip, member of March of dimes, math and Spanish honors society, hospital work and 4 different UF research labs. I also have a very good senior schedule including Ap chem ap physics ap lit ap photo ap gov and macro and pre calc.
What are my chances of getting an acceptance?
I think your chances of getting in are middle/little on the lower side. You are in the lower 50% for act scores and the lower end for GPA as they will not see that 4.3. But to be honest we will not know till Friday. Just do not worry about it till you see the results for yourself. What labs for UF did you work for?
How is everyone handling the wait? I’m going crazy.
^^Trying to keep my mind on other things. DD fortunately so busy she externally has no time or energy to stress. (I’m doing it for us both), but I know it’s on her mind - a lot.
Good luck to everyone:)
I have spent high school years accepting the fact that I most likely won’t get in and not hoping too much for one school. I’m super excited and nervous for the decision but it is what is and I strongly believe I will end up where I’m supposed to be… Whether that’s uf or not
I researched in an oral bio lab 2 gastro labs and a lupus lab, I’m hoping that experience makes me different from other applicants :-/

I didn’t realize UF had such a small out of state population
