Like 100 students apply from my school. This kid with a 1440 didnt get in and it was his first choice
@cody27 Huh, weird…I’m assuming a majority of those 100 students got in since it’s an IB school? Are you from a highly competitive county or something?
At my school about 100 applied as well and like ~95 got accepted

Some of the most competitive applicants got rejected. I was under the impression that 33+ was pretty much auto-admission…
I’m glad I got in but I’m kinda upset that 3/4 of my friends didn’t
.
I also got accepted (34 ACT, 5.0 GPA), but I am not sure if I want to go to UF. I get my last decisions April 1, but the UF honors application is due at the end of this month. Is the honors app in any way binding?
@hopefulundertone Im pretty sure nothing is binding until you pay your deposit

.
It seems like UF is getting increasingly hard to get into… 33,000 applied for only 6,600 spots, meaning there was only a 20% acceptance rate??! Thats crazy, congrats to all who got in!
@curiouscat319 This happened to my oldest daughter 4 years ago. It’s very hard, but in the end you will land where you are supposed to be. It’s definitely UFs loss…
