UF and the ACT?

<p>I wanted to know if this will hurt my chances of getting into UF. When I first took the ACT I got a 29. Then I took it again but I only focused on the English b/c all the other schools I'm applying to superscore (now my act superscored is a 30). My english score went up but my composite went down to a 25. </p>

<p>Will UF look at my 2 scores and not choose me because my 2nd score is much lower than my first one? Will they think maybe I was just lucky in the beginning or maybe I just had an off day the second time? Please answer because I'm freaking out now! Thank you!</p>

<p>UF only uses one test score when making their decisions. It is either your highest composite on the ACT or your superscored SAT (whichever is concorded higher). Deep breaths, February is still 5 months away.</p>
