UF PaCE Transfer to Resident?

Has anyone ever transferred from University of Florida PaCE student to a Resident Student? I am not talking about when you reach your number of hours but actually transfer so that you can have the option of a different major that resident students get offered.

It doesn’t really work that way. If the PaCE majors aren’t a good fit for you, the program isn’t a good fit for you. No need to fit a square peg into a round hole. I would pursue other options.

You either “transition” into a PaCE major, or you apply as a standard transfer student after earning 60 credits and meeting the transfer requirements for your major.

The standard transfer route would be the way to get into a non-PaCE major. Keep in mind that some non-PaCE majors are limited access and are very competitive for transfer students.

You can also attend another university or CC, and then transfer to UF, like any other transfer student.

EDIT: I’m sure a few students have won their admissions appeal and got moved from PaCE to Summer/Fall resident status, but it’s rare.
