UIUC Online Civil Masters Program? Do you recommend it?

CEE Master's Program Online | Civil and Environmental Engineering at Illinois

Have any of you guys tried it? Is it credible? Do you recommend it?

Can anyone answer?? Please?

Are online master degrees reputable?

My personal $0.05…

If you going to do an online degree, do it from either a well-known school or a branch of a well-known school.

Well-known schools like

 • UIUC
 • University of fill in the state
 • fill in the state State University

Branches of well-known schools like

 • University of Illinois - Springfield
 • California State University - Branch Name

Your original post was a while ago, but responding anyway!

I agree with GlobalTraveler regarding well known and respected schools.

Also, the UIUC program offers classes online that are the same classes currently meeting on campus - they are recorded for online students. The MS degree is the same for on campus and online students. Online students are in the course LMS with students on campus and other online students. Works great for people who are employed full time or in other time zones.
